Please join us in congratulating Union City Little League they are the Auto Express and JET/FOX/YourErie “Loving Giving Local ??” nonprofit of the week.  I met with  J.T Tingley  President  at the fields and we talked about all the volunteer hours it takes to up keep the fields and run the Little League program. We have had the pleasure to watch our son Nick play on those fields and they are always in great shape. Congratulations Union City Little League

Please join us in congratulating this weeks Auto Express and JET/FOX/YourErie “Loving Giving Local ??” nonprofit Doorkeepers Christian Outreach. Doorkeeper’s is located in rural Springcreek Pa. We met with Heidi Kafferlein and she explained the outreach was built in the mid 70’s and was created as a gathering place for local churches. The outreach continues to serve as such today. The outreach is also used for weddings , summer camp, and many area gatherings. Heidi says this donation will help with some of the improvements being made…

Please join us in congratulating “West Lake Fire Dept” they are the Auto Express and JET/FOX/YourErie Loving Giving Local ?? nonprofit of the week.  During these times fundraising has been difficult for volunteer fire depts and on water rescues have been on the rise all summer.  We were happy to bring Westlake Fire Dept this donation for all they do in our community. Thank you Westlake Fire Dept and congratulations.

Please join us in congratulating “Greater Erie Alliance for Equality” they are the Auto Express and JET/FOX/YourErie “Loving Giving Local??” nonprofit of the week. I spoke with board member Dale Allgeier .  He says this group is all about educating the community and our youth about equality for LGBTQ and transgender. Making sure there are equal rights and opportunities for all and support our community through programs.

Please join us in congratulating Braedon, Macie and Asher Stankiewicz they are the Auto Express KIA and JET/FOX/YourErie “Good Kid “ of the week.  All three brothers and sister go to Wattsburg school district. Here is the nomination letter from their father”All three of my kids (Braedon 12 years, Macie 10 years and Asher 7 years) began growing plants at the beginning of quarantine. It was to learn more about science and sustainability.

Please join us in congratulating Avery Sontheimer she is the Auto Express KIA and JET/FOX/YourErie “Good Kid “ of the week. Avery is a 8th grader at Corry Middle School. Avery saw how the COVID-19 pandemic created hard times for animal shelters so she wanted to do something to make a difference. Avery dreams of one day owning a shelter. He is 13yrs old and in 7th grade.  Nathan saw the damage done to local businesses during the protest and felt the need to do something about it. He was nominated by the Erie Otters .
